Pearl Jam Twenty Documentary Trailer

This is a trailer many of you have been waiting for - Cameron Crowe's Pearl Jam Twenty documentary! The film traces the 20-year history of Pearl Jam, packed with rare footage and new interviews. This brand new trailer comes straight from the official Pearl Jam Vimeo (via Vulture) and includes all kinds of stellar footage, like a wacky David Lynch interview, lots of old concerts and much more. It just looks like a great rock doc, thanks of course to Crowe. Pearl Jam Twenty is the definitive portrait of Pearl Jam: part concert film, part intimate insider-hang, and part testimonial to the power of music and uncompromising artists.

Pearl Jam Twenty, directed by Cameron Crowe (of Say Anything, Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous, Vanilla Sky, Elizabethtown, We Bought a Zoo) chronicles the years leading up to the band's formation, the chaos that ensued soon after their rise to megastardom, their step back from centre stage, and the creation of a trusted circle that would surround them – giving way to a work culture that would sustain them. Told in big themes and bold colours with blistering sound, the film is carved from over 1,200 hours of rarely seen and never-before seen footage spanning the band's career. PBS will be airing this documentary as part of their American Masters series on October 21st for free on cable TV. For more info on the premiere visit

Looks awesome and cant wait to see this.. One of my all time fav bands, seen then live 6x now and cant wait for x7 next month.  Cool to see the Chicago leap in the trailer.  I hope this is as good or better than FF's Back and Forth, another awesome band and a great documentary. Just saw Soundgarden last week in Chicago, going to see PJ in WI next month, and FF at Lola in 2 weeks..  Good to be fan !!!

I was not a fan of FF: Back and Forth. But this one must be great!

Ryderup, I am curious, what makes U say that ?  I guess I am biased since I am a big FF fan, but I thought that documentary was great, it touched on many aspects of the band whether good or bad and even had some of the ex-band members.
