Bellflower Trailer

An official theatrical trailer for cult favorite indie flick Bellflower has hit the web courtesy of IMDb, with an embed below from Twitch. Before this, we've only featured the teaser trailer which had nothing but their post-apocalyptic car named Medusa, which barely plays a part in the film anyway. Starring Evan Glodell, Tyler Dawson and Jessie Wiseman, the film follows two friends as they venture out into the world to begin their adult lives. This trailer really makes the film look great, and they're obviously focusing on those quotes about it, but I'm still not that into it after seeing it at Sundance. But give it a shot, you may dig this.

Watch the official theatrical trailer for Evan Glodell's Bellflower from YouTube:

Two friends spend all their free time building flame-throwers and weapons of mass destruction in hopes that a global apocalypse might occur and clear the runways for their imaginary gang, "Mother Medusa."

Bellflower was written, directed, co-produced and edited by filmmaker Evan Glodell, and although he stars in it as well, thankfully the cinematographer was Joel Hodge, who brought a fantastically unique edge to it by using homemade camera systems. This premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this year and was picked up by Oscilloscope Labs. Bellflower is currently set for a release starting on August 5th later this summer.

I really liked the titles, they were bingo. Looks a little odd on the acting, but the film looks pretty decent.

Yeah, the acting looks like it would ruin the movie for me.

Eh, you never know, sometimes a film gets re-edited after a movie-fest and it just pops that much more. This trailer is indeed wonderful, if the movie is anything like it, I'll probably enjoy it. The cinematography alone looks fantastic.

I'll probably see this if it plays near here, but it definitely looks cool to me. Something that blew me away about this flick was that the guys who made it made the camera it was shot on as well. I'd love to know how they went about it, cause the resulting images are pretty awesome.

That's cool about the making of the camera, that adds a lot more to the look for sure, like with what people are doing with 7D's too, it's exiting to see.
