Happy Feet Two Teaser Trailer

"We're bringing fluffy back!" Ohh my, here we go again. Warner Bros has debuted the first teaser trailer for Happy Feet Two over on Apple, and yes it's totally ridiculous because we've got more singing penguins singing… terrible rap songs. Okay maybe I'm being too harsh because I don't really like this "franchise" but yes indeed, if you didn't forget, there's a sequel coming to the animated musical penguin classic, as this is all George Miller has been working on instead of the new Mad Max. I'm guessing most will enjoy this trailer, but what's with the fruity wool sweater over the "Two" in the logo? Have fun - Mumble and friends are back!

Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his son Erik is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and meets The Mighty Sven, a penguin who can fly! But the world is shaken by powerful forces.

Happy Feet Two is again both written and directed by Australian filmmaker George Miller, who started his career with films like the Mad Max trilogy, The Witches of Eastwick and Lorenzo's Oil, before delving into family films with Babe: Pig in the City and Happy Feet from 2006, which is surprisingly his most recent film. This was produced at Aussie animation house Animal Logic, also behind Legend of the Guardians. Warner Bros is releasing Happy Feet Two in theaters in 3D on November 18th in the fall. Who's excited?

WOW. That was a colossal waste of time. Why are they making a sequel? The first film was totally riding the coat tails of March of the Penguins.

Should be retitled, Like Jello For Water. 😛

Congrats on picking such a crappy song for the trailer. Way to make me not want to see a movie.

Is this for real? It's looks like it's done by a bunch of people down under who think they know what's cool and in style with the kids. Clearly they have no idea. Time to retire.

The first one was fantastic and well deserved the Oscar. I rather ask "why 4 Shrek movies?" Oh yes, cause most people like cheap jokes. This is going to be great. And did you see the rendering of water, snow and fur?

I'm with Gianni - this sequel may or may not be a cheap cash-in, but the first "Happy Feet" was one of the best films, animated or not, I've had the pleasure of seeing in the past decade.

I was excited to see the trailer but I am sooooo not impressed. I'm on the fence about the music but the first one had lots of good music so....

Uhm, no, it's not Animal Logic, it's Miller's Dr. D Studios
