Dolphin Tale Trailer

"No dolphin has ever been known to lose its entire tail and survive." That's the story behind Dolphin Tale (in 3D), an inspirational new movie starring Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick Jr., and Ashley Judd. Warner Bros has debuted the first trailer on Yahoo and boy is it a doozy of an inspirational piece. Definitely going for a heart-pounding Free Willy for a new generation feeling. I'm sure it's a great movie, but Morgan Freeman looks like he's just Lucius Fox taking a vacation to the beach. I hope it's just a bit better than it looks. If you love inspirational movies about saving animals, Dolphin Tale needs to be on your must see list.

Inspired by the remarkable true story of a courageous dolphin named Winter and the compassionate people who banded together to save her life, including the heartwarming friendship between a boy and the dolphin.

Dolphin Tale is directed by actor/filmmaker Charles Martin Smith, who has directed numerous cheesy movies over his career, including Fifty/Fifty, Air Bud and Stone of Destiny. The screenplay was written by Karen Janszen (A Walk to Remember, Gracie) and Noam Dromi. Warner Bros is bringing Dolphin Tale to theaters everywhere in 3D starting on September 23rd this fall. Anyone interested in actually seeing this?

He he, Alex, I really didn't know what I was watching in that trailer, they put a tail on a dolphin? That's like the news stories where they put wheels on a cat who has had his hind legs ripped off in some accident as a light piece of news in between the genocide, mudrer and disaster stories? Most of the time it looked like the actors were trying not to laugh and just thinking about the money. Morgan Freeman could sell anything, but he ain't selling me Dolphin Tails The Movie in 3Dimensions no less. This film to me anyway is inspiring: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNlwh8vT2NU Not a dolphin in sight.

Heyup M.A.Man I do like Berlin as a place to visit, but I don't believe I've heard of Ichbinkeinberliner.

Not sure if it's worth seeing this in the theaters. First no need to see it in 3D and second I can wait to see it on DVD. I like true stories that are inspirational so I may change my mind come Sept.

Very touching indeed! How can anyone like Crapola asking if this is a joke? Well, Crapola is a joke!

I think my 14 year old daughter would love this, but I wouldn't watch this just on my own.

They filmed some of it right down the road from me and when I heard about it I thought it would be a Straight To DVD bin film but apparently it is getting some attention...though I do love Winter the Dolphin i am not so sure about the film

Ha I don't know man, that's pretty much... wrong. Maybe it's just best to just watch a movie about saving dolphins every once in a while.

I find it funny that you really think this could be good.. Its just emotional bullsh*t. Theres so many movies like this, they just make you sad and then happy and then sad again and then happy in the end. They are not good movies just because the story is full of emotion. Looks like Crap, with a big C. Air Bud>Dolphincrap.

Well...could be touching, and could just be ok...but I saw a glimpse of Kris Kristofferson at the end there, that's cool!

People, come on. It's a feel good movie about a kid who helps to save a dolphin. Are you all really that jaded? It may not be at the top of my list, but I probably wouldn't turn it off one afternoon on HBO. Looks good.
