First Odd Trailer for Jim Sheridan's 'Dream House' with Daniel Craig

"Some say that all houses have memories. For one man, his home is the place he would kill to forget." Is that the extended tagline? Universal has finally unveiled the first official trailer via Apple for Jim Sheridan's new suspense thriller Dream House, starring Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz as a couple that moves into a house that seems to be haunted, or stalked, or something like that. The trailer gives away quite a bit of the plot, but is still somewhat confusing, regarding multiple families and Craig's character. I can't say I'm particularly interested in seeing this, but you never know, it might be okay. Give it a shot and check this out.

Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts and Rachel Weisz star in Dream House, a suspense thriller about a family that moves into a home where grisly murders were committed… only to find themselves the killer's next target.
Dream House is directed by Oscar nominated acclaimed Irish filmmaker Jim Sheridan, of My Left Foot, The Field, In the Name of the Father, The Boxer, In America, Get Rich or Die Tryin' and Brothers most recently. The screenplay was written by David Loucka, of The Dream Team, Eddie and Borderline previously. After a couple of delays, Universal is finally bringing Dream House to theaters starting September 30th this fall.

Another trailer that gives too much away.

Yeah, I wish I hadn't watched that fucking trailer. That looks like a pretty good psychological thriller, but I feel like I know too much now. I like surprises. I see similarities to Shutter Island, but at least the trailers for that didn't give it all away. They could have shown the images without the explanatory dialogue, and then it might be worth hitting the theater for. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU

If they could have done it without showing the part where he realizes he's in an asylum it would have been better.

I must not have seen every trailer. I probably only saw a teaser. In the end that's better. I've been following this Dark Knight Rises thing like a crazy person. But I'll probably enjoy it more if I wait until it comes out.

The Book was excellent...this trailer looks to have captured the book well. I'm rather optimistic.

Isn't this film starring Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts and Rachel Weisz, with Watts being the 2nd lead?

Looks like it gave away a lot, but I'm still really intrigued. I love all those actors! This looks like a much, much, MUCH better version of the #23.

The mystery now is whether he killed his family or not & who actually murdered them still interesting though they did reveal too much...

Feel the same way as Cburns77. Can someone, who read the book, state if the trailer gives away too much or not? Shutter »shiny« house in ... does it takes place in Amityville? Haha!

Has there been a truly scary movie since Rosemary's baby? The haunted house thing has been done to death and they're never scary ....
