Watch: Foul-Mouthed, 30 Second 'Drive Angry 3D' Red Band Spot!
"This awards season… it will 'f&$k you up!'" It's easy to tell when a movie is struggling or desperate for as much last-minute attention as it can get, because the studio releases tons of new headline-ready trailers and clips just weeks before its release. Anyway, Summit has debuted via IGN a brand new, 30-second red band TV spot (how they're ever going to air this on TV, I have no clue) for Drive Angry 3D, their upcoming Nic Cage, Amber Heard action flick shot in authentic 3D. Oh and it has William Fichtner in it, too! I kind of wanted to see it, but to be honest, this red band trailer made me even less interested. All that shitty CGI!
Watch the new red band TV spot for Patrick Lussier's Drive Angry 3D:
Cage stars as Milton, a hardened felon who has broken out of hell for one last chance at redemption. Intent on stopping a vicious cult who murdered his daughter, he has 3 days to find them. Watch an official trailer.
Drive Angry 3D is directed by former editor Patrick Lussier, who has also previously directed Dracula 2000 (as well as Dracula II & III), White Noise 2: The Light and My Bloody Valentine 3D. The script was written by Lussier and writing partner Todd Farmer, of Jason X, The Messengers and also My Bloody Valentine 3D previously. Summit Entertainment is bringing Drive Angry 3D to theaters on February 25th. Seeing this?

I'm not going to lie. I'm going to watch the shit out of this movie. If studios keep pumping out Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler romantic comedies, I feel I need to support these releases before they're dead and gone all together.

Everything about this trailer screamed "Grindhouse!", which...is not a bad thing at all, imo. I'm gonna watch this if only for Nicholas Cage. I don't care how many horrible movies he makes, I fucking love this guy!

Agree! He made a few crappy ones but what about the good ones? Face Off, Lord of War? Come on. Kickass? Fantastic as well...
