Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked Trailer

Here we go again. Fox has debuted the theatrical trailer for Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, the third film in the never-ending musical Alvin in the Chipmunks franchise. This is just for fun and for those who might actually enjoy watching these movies, whether it be with their kids or otherwise. In this sequel, Alvin and the gang, including a squad of female 'munks, get lost on an island after jumping ship. Jason Lee is back as their caretaker in what essentially looks like if CGI singing Chipmunks took over the first season of Lost. If this is something that interests you, then check out the new theatrical trailer below.

Playing around while aboard a cruise ship, the Chipmunks and Chipettes accidentally go overboard and end up marooned in a tropical paradise. There they discover their new turf is not as deserted as it seems.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked is directed by filmmaker Mike Mitchell, who's previously directed movies like Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Surviving Christmas, Sky High and Shrek Forever After. The screenplay is by Jonathan Aibel & Glenn Berger, writers of DreamWorks' Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2, Monsters vs Aliens and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel as well. 20th Century Fox is bringing Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 to theaters everywhere on December 16th this holiday season. Brave it only if you have kids!

3 questions: -How does shit like this still get made?? -Who pays to see this shit?? -How does this shit NOT manage to go straight to the DVD Bargain Bin at WalMart?? Seriously... -_-

Anonymous on Oct 15, 2011

3 Answers: 1. Unlike you. The rest of the world loves it!                 2. They are willing to pay for it!                 3. Unlike the lame zombie films you like, The films are blockbusters! Not flops! Making more money for the creators. So they won't be in a discount bin!

Hey there are a lot of fans out there and the reason why it does not go straight to the DVD bin at WalMart is because it's a good movie and the chipmunks and chipettes have been going strong since 1958 thank you very much

so.. its gettin all these negative comments because kids movies can't be made anymore? you don't have to like everything thats ever made. christ, get over yourselves. Its a kids movie...

The Squeak shall inhirit the Mirth! From a bloodless take on Lord of the Flies, to a lush Blue Lagoon sequence with Simon and Jeanette. This film will surprise the most cynical parent. We discover it's not all laughs and games with Alvin. We get to hear his fears of not being the most loved among David Seville's adopted sons. Prepare to be entertained. Like the announcer said,"The Greatest Chipmunk Adventure of All!"

Now listen up, im 14 yrs old!! And when i saw this preview, i litterally screamed. (obviously getting the computer taken away) but when i got it back, i continually watched it over and over again. So no matter what you HATERS say, its not gonna change my mind about this movie. How would you feel if someone went up to you and told you to stop making ur greatest passion/creation!! So, I WILL SEE THIS MOVIE, whether im not obsessed or am obsessed, Over the past 6 years ive realized that Alvin and the Chipmunks is and always will be part of my life, so good day to u all. Thank you.

You guys are pathetic. Clearly this is a kids show and even a grown up can watch it and enjoy with the right mindset. Enjoy life. You all think your all "manly" and shiz. LOL.
