"Don't move. Stare right back at them." A sizzle reel for the literally chilling thriller The Grey showed up last month before the studio ended up taking down the footage for the rare promising January release, but now we have a new trailer for the film from The A-Team director Joe Carnahan, and this just keeps looking better and better. The last film that really pitted man vs. nature in a setting like this (that I can recall at least) is The Edge, but this raises the stakes with more people and a pack of ravenous wolves amongst several obstacles that Liam Neeson and his crew will face in the frigid wilderness. The Grey is written and directed by Joe Carnahan (The A-Team, Smokin' Aces) and produced by filmmaking brothers Ridley and Tony Scott. Liam Neeson leads a group of Alaskan pipeline workers hunted by wolves in the frigid wilderness after their plane crashes on their way back home. James Badge Dale ("The Pacific"), Dallas Roberts ("Rubicon"), Dermot Mulroney (Flash of Genius), Frank Grillo (My Soul to Take), Nonso Anozie (RocknRolla) and Joe Anderson (The Crazies) all co-star as fellow oil rig roughnecks in this man vs. nature thriller which will hit theaters on January 27th early next year. Liam Neeson could kill a pack of wolves with a rubber band and a post it note. I think Chuck Norris is a pussy compared to Liam Neeson. For Neeson's next film he will laugh Steven Seagal to death.
