It's all fun and games until Moriarty messes things up. Warner Bros has debuted a new featurette today over on Yahoo for Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, his follow-up to the 2008 Sherlock Holmes adventure starring Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes and Jude Law as Watson. As funny as Downey Jr. can be, this actually looks incredibly action-packed and quite exciting, I must say. The video is narrated by RDJ, who introduces us to Noomi Rapace as Sim. And speaking of Moriarty, he says "it's probably the closest [Arthur] Conan Doyle 'Holmes vs. Moriarty' story that's been depicted yet." Sounds good. Enjoy!
Watch the new featurette for Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, from Yahoo:
Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick Dr. John Watson join forces to outwit and bring down their fiercest adversary, Professor Moriarty, in this sequel to Lionel Wigram's new take on Sherlock Holmes from 2009.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is again directed by British filmmaker Guy Ritchie, of Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Revolver, RocknRolla, and the first Sherlock Holmes. The screenplay was written by husband & wife writers Kieran & Michele Mulroney, who wrote and directed the indie film Paper Man. Warner Bros and Silver Pictures are bringing Sherlock Holmes 2 to theaters starting December 16th.
