Watch: Funny or Die Perfectly Parodies 'Drive' with 'Drive-Thru' Trailer
"You want me to pick you up something from the drive-thru, you give me a time and a place. I give you a 5-minute window." If you're among those who haven't yet enjoyed the masterful thriller Drive from director Nicholas Winding Refn and starring Ryan Gosling, then you're missing out. But for those who have already seen the gripping, intense and even shocking film, this bit of fun is for you. Funny or Die has debuted a hilarious short called Drive-Thru which uses the same beautiful visual style (perhaps with a little less grace) and the film's killer soundtrack in a trailer parody that rivals The Muppets. Watch below!
Here's Funny or Die's hilarious Drive trailer parody Drive-Thru:
Drive is directed by Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn, of the Pusher trilogy, Bronson and Valhalla Rising previously. The screenplay was written by Hossein Amini (The Four Feathers, Killshot, 47 Ronin), adapted from James Sallis' novel. This first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where Refn went on to win Best Director. It was released in theaters on September 16th earlier this year. FilmDistrict will put out Drive on Blu-Ray and DVD starting January 31st. I love this movie, too - can't wait to own it! Funny?
Hilarious? You must have gone to the Huffington Post School of hyperbole in headline writing. That was frickin' awful unless you think watching a guy choke down a burrito is 'hilarious'. Sigh...

A headline is different than a paragraph. The opening paragraph does indeed contain the world hilarious while the headline does not. I could've sworn that there was more than a man eating a burrito in this video, but that's just me having an opinion on something I thought was funny on the internet. Big mistake on my end. Sorry for the confusion.

For some people who couldn't take the pacing of the film, like the mentally ill woman who complained because it wasn't like Fast and the Furious, the pacing of that comedy short would actually make more sense.

If you're into glacial pacing, yeah...

This was amazing. Not necessarily hilarious but the parodies were spot on. If you don't like it, you obviously haven't seen/enjoyed the movie. Loved the movie. Loved the parody.
