Watch: How Pitch Meetings Actually Work at Jerry Bruckheimer Films

Good morning, Jerry Bruckheimer. While his production company has been behind some fun and memorable films like Remember the Titans and Armageddon, lately Jerry Bruckheimer and his production banner haven't been so hot. Films like Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time just bored the hell out of me, and if Jeremy's review or the Rotten Tomatoes score is any indicator, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides doesn't seem to be a home run. Well, now we may know why the company can't see to stand upright nowadays as a video from inside the production company has revealed just how pitch meetings actually work. See it below!
The good news is, this video had executives at Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (where Bruckheimer is set up) laughing pretty heartily. But, perhaps the saddest thing about this video which Deadline discovered, is that some of these ideas have probably been tossed around Hollywood before. Even worse is that there are some people out there who would actually pay to see some of these movies in theaters (who doesn't want Remember the Titans on Alcatraz?). It wouldn't be surprising if all production companies had a grab bag of ideas come from meetings like this, but thankfully, it seems they're confined to this comedy sketch. Here's hoping none of these movies ever make it to the big screen. Pretty funny, eh?
