This April, Take the Journey, Fall in Love (Again) and Experience Titanic Like Never Before. Paramount has debuted a full theatrical trailer for the 3D re-release of James Cameron's Titanic, hitting theaters this April is as it prominently reminds us. The trailer comes from Facebook and features plenty of footage, with an equal amount of text and an introduction by Cameron himself. This is certainly a good reminder of how epic Cameron's film really is, and how good it is too, to be honest, so get ready for a trip down memory lane. Oh and if you hate Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On", you best stop at about the 2:18 mark. Enjoy.
Watch the official re-release trailer for James Cameron's Titanic in 3D, originally via Facebook:
For those interested, Paramount is re-releasing Titanic (originally opened in December 1997) in theaters on April 6th, 2012, four days before the 100th Anniversary of the real ship's departure on April 10th, 1912. They're releasing it in 3D nationwide, IMAX, and also in 2D, featuring a fully digitally re-mastered 4K print that Cameron has said will look better than it ever has before. They spent a painstaking 60 weeks and $18 million at two conversion shops to make Titanic in 3D look like one of the best conversions you'll ever see. Titanic won a total of 11 Oscars, including Best Picture. We'll see everyone back in theaters next April 6th.

NO - it's not one of the best ever. you (like many) ignore movies of the past.....before the internet......before the hype machines........and as far as how much money being made -before ticket prices went to a ridiculous point. titanic was too long; story was "meh" and the acting (although i love dicaprio) wasn't great. only thing about the movie that i thought was good were the sets. by the way - you are a complete LOON if you think titanic blazed some kind of trail for blockbuster moives - there were big movies before and would have been blockbuster movies regardless of titanic. i'm not a hater - but i DID dislike this movie. there have been MUCH better love stories in movies. my advice to you is relax and listen to celine sing "my heart will go on"..........LOL

let me get this straight - this is the "James Cameron 'Titanic' in 3D Re-Release Official Trailer"? to take a line from "storm of the century" - hell is repetition.......if that's true, then surely titanic is the film that will be watched in hell.......just that thought is enough to make me repent right now.

Pop Culture at its best. This would be something I'd watch on the big screen again if I could for free. Otherwise it'll just sit their in my memories. I remember working that weekend at my local theater and seeing it sell out each and every show. People of all ages and genders coming over and over again. I hadn't experienced that even with the special editions of the original Star Wars trilogy when they were brought back.

So for Avatar promo, they had 'from the maker of TITANIC' and now for the Titanic 3D promo, they have it as 'from the visionary maker of AVATAR' Haha.. WTF!!!

They should have spent another dollar on this trailer, had it in 1080p, and without sound distortion

This movie is my childhood, man. Lots of good memories. I still like going to my gram's house just to watch the old 2-parter VHS of it.

So much stiff dialogue throughout, however, I do have a favorite performance in this movie and it is actually from Gloria Stuart as elderly Rose.

It doesn't matter how many times you've seen this movie, it's always better and more emotional when you're sitting in a theater watching it with others. I was not able to see it in theaters, for I was only 3 years old, but now I get to see Titanic in theaters for the first time, and in 3D. Be jealous!
