Immortals TV Spot

"Fight for honor! Fight for you future!" If you haven't already seen enough to whet your appetite for Tarsem Singh's fantasy epic Immortals, Relativity recently released an extended 60-second TV spot for the movie over on Fandango. There's a lot of the footage we've seen the second and third trailers for Immortals, and some new stuff, but most just lots of awesome action, badass music, lots to get you hyped up to see this. Henry Cavill stars as Theseus, Mickey Rourke as the evil King Hyperion, as well as Luke Evans, John Hurt, Kellan Lutz, Stephen Dorff and Freida Pinto. I can't wait to watch this, only a few months left. Enjoy!

Watch the new extended TV spot for Tarsem Singh's Immortals, originally from Fandango:

Immortals follows the story of warrior prince Theseus as he leads men into battle against imprisoned titans in order to save mankind. It's a $100 million epic and will be converted to 3D in post-production for release by Relativity this year, after being shot on soundstages in Montreal last year. The screenplay was written by Charley Parlapanides & Vlas Parlapanides. Also starring: Freida Pinto, Stephen Dorff as Stavros, John Hurt as Old Zeus and Corey Sevier as Apollo. "The Gods are like superheroes," Tarsem has teased before. Relativity is bringing Immortals to theaters everywhere in 3D starting on November 11th. Going to see it?

I'd like it if the speech wasn't there. But I'm totally up for it.

Crapola on Sep 21, 2011

Where did the 100 million go? Cause this looks like the $&!# I took this morning and it only cost me last nights dinner.

you must be watching all of the trailers for this movie with your eyes closed to ask such a foolish question.

i still dont understand why luke evans is zeus

Because according to the writers and director, if you were immortal, would you want to spend all eternity as an old man or as a young man in your prime? Makes senses to me.

Geason on Sep 21, 2011

Pretty damn awesome, visually...performances looks decent. Skyrim and Immortals? Hard to choose which one will be more epic.

Xerxexx on Sep 21, 2011

bro, if  you're referring to the video game?....skyrim won't compare to  "dark souls". and yea.....this movie looks SOOOOOO cool.

Anonymous on Sep 21, 2011

I was indeed. I'll give you Dark Souls...it does look epic. Stoked to see it.

Xerxexx on Sep 21, 2011

and i'm not saying skyrim will be bad.......i enjoyed oblivion. but, i really liked the combat of "demon souls" over ES4. this is why i expect "dark souls" to continue that trend. i'll certainly be picking up skyrim at some point, though!

I heard Demon Souls was a killer in killing the players over and over and over again. If I can I'll grab both Demon Souls and Dark Souls.

Xerxexx on Sep 22, 2011

demon souls IS punishing to the players......but it's fair. button mashers won't get far. pay attention to your attacks as well  as what the enemy is vulnerable to, and you'll be ok..........it's  one of this gens best games.

I look for games that are captivating and immersive, games like Bioshock "Would you kindly" and fingers crossed Bioshock Infinite always stick with me long after I finish them, and I'm sure Demon Souls will remain in my mind long after I complete it.

Xerxexx on Sep 22, 2011

yea - i'm looking forward to bioshock infinite too.......i love the "world in the sky" motif

From Rapture to Columbia. What's next?

Xerxexx on Sep 23, 2011

The story and actors look ok but daaamn, Tarsem Singh always has some of the best visuals in his films. Hopefully he gets the chance to do even more.

this looks fucking stupid. I hate the constant slow motion thing. it ends up having the opposite of its intended effect. instead of imbuing a given action with more importance it ends up robbing the action of its intensity.

You think people would have learned that lesson after the Matrix Trilogy.
