Father of Invention Trailer

"All I need is one good idea that puts me right back on top." Anchor Bay has debuted the latest official trailer over on Hulu for Father of Invention, an indie dramedy about Robert Axle, an eccentric inventor played by Kevin Spacey. I'm not that familiar with this film, it never hit any film festivals as far as I know, but it looks okay, and it has Kevin Spacey as a crazy old bearded dude, which is the best part. Though I find it kind of odd that Camilla Belle plays his daughter and Heather Graham one of her "young" friends. The cast also includes Virginia Madsen, Craig Robinson, John Stamos and Johnny Knoxville. Check it out!

Watch the latest official trailer for Trent Cooper's Father of Invention, originally from Hulu:

Robert Axle (Kevin Spacey) is an eccentric inventor who achieves wealth and fame, but finds unexpected misfortune and after many hardships is ready to redeem his name and rebuild his billion dollar empire.

Father of Invention is directed by American filmmaker Trent Cooper, of only Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector previously, but also a few shorts including Coaching the Minors. The script was written by Trent Cooper & producer Jonathan D. Krane. This film premiered at various film festival markets in 2010, and was picked up by Anchor Bay Films, but they've been holding onto it for a while. Father of Invention will finally be released in limited theaters on October 14th this fall. For more info, visit their official website.

I'm not gonna lie, I'll watch this movie only because Camilla Belle is in it.
