Harry Potter - Horcruxes Featurette

We're getting down to the last few weeks before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and Warner Bros looks to be unleashing even more footage, this time in the form of some fantastic, four-minute featurettes about key elements of Deathly Hallows: Part 2. The one I think is worth featuring is from Yahoo and focuses on their search for the Horcruxes, which they started in Half-Blood Prince. For those that don't know what a Horcrux even is, this does give a quick explanation, but it's just interesting to see them all talking about this massive finale. My only warning is that this does show quite a bit of footage, so watch out.

There's also another new spoilerish featurette about Gringotts Bank over on Entertainment Weekly.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is again directed by British filmmaker David Yates, of Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince previously. The script was also written again by Steve Kloves, of Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, and also Half-Blood Prince, but not Order of the Phoenix. This is based on J.K. Rowling's very popular series of books which have already concluded. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 arrives in theaters in 3D starting on July 15th this summer!

Good featurette... but I feel like they're showing way too much footage of this movie.

Yea, I agree! But that's why I put that warning at the end of the opener, because I suggest steering clear of watching this if you prefer to see less footage. That's what I'm doing!

David Yates, has to get some kudos; He seems to have pulled off not only splitting "Deathly Hallows" in two...but somehow making both individual yet both two sides of the same coin. This. Will. Be. Epic Yates is easilyyyyy the most under-talked Director of the last couple years...if his Harry Potter work is anything to go by...dudes got some chops.

4 horcruxes to find, the destruction of Hogwarts, and the death of many wizards... This movie is gonna be epic! The only thing i'm worried about is the trailers and featurette fail to show how harry is torn between finding the horcruxes and the deathly hallows, which was probably the best part of pt. 1 but they are probably just not revealing that part of the story seeing as they've already revealed so much of the action scenes.. however if it lacks emphasis on the deathly hallows i will be quite disappointed seeing as the NAME of the movie is HP and the deathly hallows!!
