In case you have somehow forgotten the image of Sean Penn in drag for the new indie film called This Must Be The Place, directed by Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino, now we have a new trailer with even more footage from the film about a man who scours the United States to find the ex-Nazi war criminal who killed his father and "track down and confront his father's nemesis." There's currently no theatrical release date set for the U.S., but more than likely, I'll be checking out the film at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival in January since it was part of the four late additions announced earlier this week. Watch the trailer below!
Here's the new trailer for Paolo Sorrentino's This Must Be The Place via Bleeding Cool:
A retired rock star sets out to find his father's executioner, an ex-Nazi war criminal hiding out in the U.S.
This Must Be The Place is written and directed by Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino, making his English language debut after directing One Man Up, The Consequences of Love, The Family Friend and Il Divo previously. The screenplay was co-written by Sorrentino and Umberto Contarello (The Missing Star, A Question of the Heart, The Passion). This first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Trinity Entertainment will be bringing This Must Be The Place to theaters, but hasn't set an official release date yet.

It's a new trailer, it's just very similar to the older trailer with brief snippets of new footage. Slow news week, but Prometheus trailer is coming so get pumped for that in the meantime.

I'm in. Like the concept, and Penn looks pretty good...um...that might be misconstrued.

It looks really good. I like how the character is strange but in a very normal world, not some cookie land. Penn's went full emo on this too.

He's not in "Drag" as in drag queens. He's just different and just wearing lipstick and eyeliner.

Drag? He is a rockstar! Anyway, Sorrentino is Italy's best director at the moment. This should be great too.

In drag? What an idiotic comment. Was Robert Smith ever called to be in drag?
