You may think you know every song, every moment, every journey, but there is one story yet to be told. Its been a long-time in the making, and although it's an HBO documentary, this is totally worth featuring anyway. Yahoo (via The Playlist) has posted an official full-length trailer for Martin Scorsese's doc George Harrison: Living in the Material World, about the legendary musician, singer-songwriter, actor and producer most well known as the guitarist for the Beatles. This looks like a truly definitive documentary only Scorsese could deliver. If you're a fan of The Beatles or George Harrison, you definitely need to take a look.
Watch the official trailer for Scorsese's George Harrison: Living in the Material World, via Yahoo:
George Harrison: Living in the Material World was announced in 2007 and is directed by Martin Scorsese, of docs like Shine a Light, No Direction Home: Bob Dylan previously. "His music is very important to me, so I was interested in the journey that he took as an artist. The film is an exploration," Scorsese said. The doc follows Harrison's story from his early life in Liverpool, the success of Beatlemania, his travels to India, the influence of Indian culture in his music, and his relevance and importance as a member of The Beatles. It will consist of previously unseen footage and interviews with Olivia and Dhani Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, Eric Clapton and Tom Petty. HBO is premiering this in two parts on Oct 5th & 6th.

withouth JOHN there would be no Beatles, because it was John who started the band way before it became the Beatles.

True..Without John having the good sense to see true talent standing in front of him, John asked Paul to join is band and be his musical partner at the tender age of 15 & 16 years old..and the rest is history..If there was no big bang we would not be here to enjoying the massive talents of The Beatles 40 years after their breakup..
