Watch: New UK Trailer for Ewan McGregor/Eva Green's 'Perfect Sense'
"Life goes on." Another new UK trailer has just debuted on Empire for the apocalyptic-ish drama Perfect Sense, which premiered at Sundance. The film stars Ewan McGregor and Eva Green as two budding lovers who try to stay connected in a chaotic world, as the story deals with the human race losing individual senses one at a time. Ewen Bremner also stars, which is why you'll see him a bit in this trailer. I saw this at Sundance and I really liked the concept behind it, but not exactly the film itself, though this trailer does a great job of selling it, as it's still all about love. Give it a shot, you might be quite interested in seeing this.
Watch the latest UK trailer for David Mackenzie's Perfect Sense, via Empire:
Falling in love isn't the easiest thing in the world, especially when that world is coming apart at the seams.
Perfect Sense is directed by British director David Mackenzie, who previously directed Spread, Hallam Foe, Asylum, Young Adam and The Last Great Wilderness. The screenplay was written by award winning Danish writer Kim Fupz Aakeson, of films like Okay, In Your Hands, Pure Hearts, Little Soldier and A Somewhat Gentle Man previously. This premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, and was picked up by IFC Films for distribution. However, they haven't set the US release date yet, as far as we know. Stay tuned!
I hope Ewan McGregor and Eva Green do more leading roles in American mainstream movies from now on.

Dude, I agree 1000% if that were possible! (But you know there are people out there that would say it would be a cop out to give it a happy ending.)

I was perfectly fine with with everything going on in this trailer without the apocalyptic, contagion virus twist towards the end. Looks pretty good regardless!

Ewan McGegar captures the essence of emotion and feeling and expresses it in a divine, honest and sincere way that you feel it in your heart. He is an amazing actor. I would love to meet him, be in his presence. He oozes goodness.
