Watch: Paul Rudd Stars in Jesse Peretz's 'Our Idiot Brother' Trailer

"I can't just kick him out, he's family!" Unexpectedly this Easter Sunday, the first seemingly official trailer for Our Idiot Brother has popped up on YouTube via Vlicious. Formerly known as My Idiot Brother when it premiere at Sundance earlier this year, it's an indie comedy starring Paul Rudd as a brother who returns home to live with his three sisters, played by Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel and Emily Mortimer. This seems more like a teaser trailer, but it looks fun, I'm sad I missed seeing it, but our own Ethan seemed to enjoy it. The cast also includes Steve Coogan, Hugh Dancy and Rashida Jones. A comedy centered on an idealist (Rudd) who barges into the lives of his three sisters when he gets busted.
Our Idiot Brother was directed by filmmaker Jesse Peretz, former member of The Lemonheads and director of a few films previously like First Love Last Rites, The Château, and The Ex, as well as work on "Important Things with Demetri Martin". The screenplay was written by newcomers David Schisgall & Evgenia Peretz. This premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this year and was acquired by The Weinstein Company. They're bringing Our Idiot Brother to theaters starting August 26th this summer. Looks good, doesn't it?

AWESOME! Cast is excellent and Rudd is always lovable in any role, really. Oh and Elizabeth Banks with black hair is fucking hot!

wow, way to be a dick for little to no reason. Jones and Deschanel are both very beautiful women and I have big fans of both ladies for a long time, I'm more excited that the two are in a film together, and if they kiss then guess what, the dude in me will be smiling. Also what's is the problem with me posting on FS? Do you own the site? Are you the moderator? I fed the troll, and I feel dirty for doing it. Also in regards to me hoping they kiss, well I'll just say this: Deschanel and Jones making out!?!? HELL YEAH!

Youtube is knackered nearly as bad as everyone else these days, seen they'll probably start charging to view trailers and music then it'll just be like normal tv. I think that is maybe one of the signs of the apocalypse possibly.

I'm still puzzled by Majors pulling their trailers off external sites such as YT. Unless there are embargos for marketing purposes, why on Earth should they remove ADS for their own movies? Bah.
