Watch: Second Full Trailer for 'Final Destination 5' Brings the Mayhem

The first trailer back in May was but a tease of the disaster that sets off the most recent battle with death in Final Destination 5, but this new second trailer sets up the disaster perfectly, even if it plays out exactly the same as the rest of the trailers we're used to seeing for the films in this franchise. Nicholas D'Agosto (Rocket Science) has a vision of disaster, avoids it, and now he and his friends are chased by death at every turn. As usual, the action and suspense look like the most entertaining part even if it is more of the same terror we've seen before, and thankfully Tony Todd is around to give some wise words to these survivors.
Watch the second official trailer for Steven Quale's Final Destination 5 via Metacafe:
In this fourth sequel, survivors of a suspension-bridge collapse learn there's no way you can cheat Death.
Final Destination 5 is directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Steven Quale, who was recruited by James Cameron from USC in the 80's and has worked on FX for The Abyss, Terminator 2 and even directed the documentary Aliens of the Deep. The screenplay was written by Eric Heisserer (A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Thing remakes). This is the fourth sequel in the Final Destination franchise which began back in 2000. Warner Bros is bringing Final Destination 5 to theaters everywhere 3D starting August 12th this summer.

These movies are kinda fun if you wait for matinee or dvd release. I have not seen the last one, but I may rent it sometime. I really like the poster you featured for it. If you go into the theater not expecting too much, they actually aren't bad at all.

don't you think it would be more twisted if dear Tony Todd has to do the same to these kids to stay alive?

The bridge disaster looks great. Still believe part 2 was the only good one, but I will give a go to this one too.

This looks much better than the last movie. I like how they added the whole "kill someone and death skips you" bit, that's new. Nice to know they are trying to keep it fresh. Definitely gonna see this opening day.

Am I the only one who's really tired of this robot-like sounds that appear in each and every trailer right now? Seriously, give it a break. The deaths in these movies allways look funny, more like Scary Movie than a serious horror movie. At least Saw is more convincing
