Watch: Second Official Trailer for Russell Brand's 'Arthur' Remake
"The man who has everything will discover if he's made of more than money." Warner Bros has debuted a second new full-length trailer on Apple for Jason Winer's Arthur remake starring the delightfully hilarious Brit Russell Brand as the rich, rich, very rich man who finally finds out there's more to life than money (is there?). We've already seen one trailer, but this time we get a bit more Evander Holyfield, a bit more of that awesome floating solar system bed, and a bit more John Hodgman, too. As I said the first time around, this only looks okay, not as funny as I was hoping, but there is good humor, especially if you love Russell Brand.

A drunken playboy stands to lose a wealthy inheritance when he falls for a woman his family doesn't like.
Arthur is directed by up-and-coming American filmmaker Jason Winer, making his feature directing debut after working on Fox's "Modern Family". The screenplay was written by Peter Baynham, mostly of TV work but also credited for the "story" in Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat & Bruno. This is a remake of Steve Gordon's 1981 film Arthur. Warner Bros is bringing Arthur to theaters starting on April 8th this spring. Any better?

I am a fan of both Russell Brand and Helen Mirren, but Jennifer Garner can kind of gtfo. Regardless, it's 2 against 1 - I guess I'll see this.

I'd marry Jennifer Garner for money.

Why? Why!!!!!? i understand there's a lack of good tales to tell. But the original is so wonderful! Find one that you can remake a little better. my two cents.

Arthur=Dudley Moore. It's one of those classic iconic film characters that were completely interwoven with the actor. Don't get me wrong, I think Russell Brand is terrific and hysterical but this is right up there with unnecessary remakes the likes of PINK PANTHER. What a waste of a fun talented cast. Would have rather seen all of these guys in an original story. But who cares for originality anymore right? Let the reboots of prequel remakes run rampant. meh.

He needs to be way, way drunker. (yes I realize that's not a word). No way he'll forget he picked up a hooker in that frame of sobriety. Sorry, but Dudley Moore can't be topped in this role.

Still looks dire. Not really interested in another film of Brand proving he can't act.

Unless Katy Perry's breasts make an appearance - no thanks.
