Being Green Teaser Trailer

"Why don't we just show a real trailer, I mean what are we hiding from?!" Genius, this is just genius, and I'm so glad it continues! Disney has launched another surprise parody trailer for The Muppets movie, this time making fun of Green Lantern, but it's all in good spirit. Kermit, the greenest Muppet of them all, leads the way, but the rest of the group is also there, including stars Jason Segel and Amy Adams (and I also love Jason's self-referential meta line at the end). We've already seen teaser trailers for The Fuzzy Pack and Green With Envy (both Muppets parodies) before, but each new trailer is getting better/funnier. Enjoy!

James Bobin ("Flight of the Conchords") is at the helm of this new Muppets movie, which follows Walter & Gary (Jaon Segel), two die-hard Muppet fans and roommates who must save Muppet Theater by reuniting Kermit, Piggy, and the entire troupe to stage an "old-fashioned extravaganza." The cast is full of all kinds of celebrity cameos and other great random appearances, including Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, Zach Galifianakis, Ricky Gervais, Alan Arkin and Billy Crystal. Shooting is already finished, and Disney will be bringing The Muppets to theaters starting November 23rd this Thanksgiving. Look like a great time?

I do love it (least of all the Fuzzy Pack, that was lame), but I am ready for an honest-to-goodness "real" Muppet Movie trailer

I know you're pretty much required to ham-it-up for a Muppet film but even that looks like it's beyond Jason Segel (or Jaon Segel, Alex?) in all these trailers.

I did laugh at the closing "not in swedish"

As a swede I feel offended... or not, love it:-)

Wow, I just realized what the Swedish Chef said, "Say hello to my little friend."

Seems like they have little confidence in the actual movie being any good to keep riffing on other movies.

There are some things you think you know, and there are things you know you know, and I know that this is gonna be awesome.
