"No measure of time with you will be long enough." Just don't shoot the messenger! Last night during the dreaded MTV Movie Awards, Summit debuted the first teaser trailer-ish sort of video clip for their latest upcoming sequel The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1. Yes, this damn series is still around and is just about to kick off a fairly epic conclusion that will be split into two parts. This clip mostly contains Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson, back as Bella Swan & Edward Cullen, attending their wedding, as this is finally when they take it to the next level. Oh and also Taylor Lautner's back as a wolf, too. Have fun!
Watch the first teaser trailer for Bill Condon's The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1:
Oscar winner Bill Condon (of Gods and Monsters, Kinsey, Dreamgirls) will direct both new Breaking Dawn films in The Twilight Saga starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Michael Sheen, Anna Kendrick, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Maggie Grace, Jackson Rathbone, Lee Pace and many others. Based on the fourth novel in Stephenie Meyer's uber-popular Twilight series, this was adapted by screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, with Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt & Stephenie Meyer producing. Breaking Dawn will be split into two movies for release - the first arrives November 18th, the second November 16th, 2012.

It's like: how epic can a trailer for "16 and Pregnant" possibly be?

Why is it sad? I hold no love for Twilight, but I do for Two Steps From Hell. Had it not been for these trailers I might never have heard of them in the first place.

Why on Earth do you idiot drones comment on a movie that clearly isn't aimed towards you? I have a teenage daughter and she happens to like these books and movies. They're not for me, but but that's the great thing about films. There are poeple who DO want to see them and no one is holding a gun to your head making you watch them. You dumb asses didn't even have to click to watch the trailer. I don't watch the Saw franchise, but then again, it's not aimed at me. But I don't shit all over the movies. It's a stupid ass waste of time.

Because this is a website where you can "COMMENT" on films. If people want to bash or praise a film, then they have a right to. Chill out.

Lol. If it's not already obvious enough, some trailers are probably shown on this site because of how bad the movie is and because the backlash is exhilarating. The folks who run this ship attend Sundance and the Cannes FF. Its no secret that they have taste. And Twilight is tasteless. It also clearly points towards the very worst of the American movie going audience... tween females and lonely moms. Get used to the fact that these articles will spark opinions. The ONLY people who get upset are self-righteous keyboard knights. Learn to swim with the eels, asshole.

I'm no fan of Twilight by any means, but, clearly you don't understand healthy dialogue, Cracky. You have an opinion, certainly, and while you are entitled to such an opinion, that does NOT mean you are -entitled- to continuously thrust your opinions on others via these forums while demanding respect for them. This becomes especially true when you openly admit said subject matter holds no interest to yourself - then your opinions become not only annoying, but they also lose credibility. "Keyboard knights"...Hm, more like intelligent people that are tired of seeing these forums overran by people that go on and on about something that will die off in time just as all teen fads do. Furthermore, learn to have respect for others if you, too, wish to be respected (hint: make intelligent posts without resorting to juvenile jabs and name calling).

This isn't filmmaking, this isn't cinema, this isn't art, this isn't anything... its just pure, undiluted f**Kin' bollocks. Who the F**K goes to watch this bullshit? Is this what cinema is now?! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!

Even the epic music can't make a wedding interesting. I'll admit the creepy vampire baby pregnancy part seems interesting.

"Actually it is filmmaking, it is cinema, and it is art. Your opinion of it doesn't make it any less than what it is." Agreed. I have no interest in TWILIGHT, but you know what? It's not my call. It's not aimed at me. My niece loves the books and the movies, and she's not an idiot. Besides, it does not good to lose your head over something you will never bother to see. (This isn't aimed at you, Andrew. It's aimed at the previous post.)

It's bad film-making though. Don't get me wrong I get that It's aimed at a different audience an' all but does it have to be so shamefully predictable. I was kinda like hmmmmmmmmmmmm could POSSIBLY be decent right until Taylor Lautner took his shirt off. It's downright sillyness like that that irritates people about this franchise.

Hah! Copy that--good points, Blargh. (But I gotta admit, it was funny to see the shirt removal parodied in VAMPIRES SUCK. Not the greatest film ever made, but it did crack me up.)

I don't like what twilight did with vampires or werewolves but I love the romance in the story. A girls weakness. I will watch and I will buy but I will never go around saying how great the movie is, or that everyone should see it. I also totally dislike Kristen's awkwardness. That girl from Stick it would have been way better I always say. This is why I dislike movie adaptions from books...anyway I don't get how this movie can win any awards

movie AND books sucked. yes the books had an addictive quality, they were an easy read, big words and the illusion of suspense. but the fact was there was no real suspense! the writer knew how to make you feel like something was going to happen but nothing ever did. in the first book the fight between edward and the main bad vampire DIDNT EVEN HAPPEN. in the book bella gets knocked out by the bad guy and wakes up to edward and his family cleaning up the mess after the fight!!! they explain to her in one paragraph what happened but stephanie meyers actually SKIPS that last climactic scene with a blackout! all the other books were the same. i read them in the hopes that SOMETHING would happen but each book just fizzled out with nothing. the movies are HORRIBLE, but the books didnt exactly have movie material besides cheesy unrealistic fantasy romance, that actually probably hurts many teenage relationships, by giving impressionable girls RIDICULOUS expectations.

I can't believe you guys! I loved the books and the movies! I can't wait to see the new breaking dawn! I am crazy about these movies but I do recommend reading the books first because it fills in so much that the movies leave out. If you just saw the movies without reading the books I could see how you would think the movies were a little tacky but if you already know whats going on from the books, the movies just give it that wow factor (for us twihards atleast) lol
