"I have faith in you… Prove. Me. Right." Relativity has released a third official full-length trailer for Tarsem Singh's Immortals, his new stylized Greek gods epic starring Henry Cavill as Theseus. We've seen many trailers, lots of footage, posters and so much more from Immortals already, but this time they're trying to actually show that the story and characters are just as interesting as the visuals. The cast includes Mickey Rourke as King Hyperion, Luke Evans, Freida Pinto, Kellan Lutz, Isabel Lucas, Stephen Dorff and John Hurt. I still think this looks awesome based on the the visuals alone. Check out the trailer below!
Watch the third official trailer for Tarsem Singh's Immortals, in high def via YouTube:
Immortals follows the story of warrior prince Theseus as he leads men into battle against imprisoned titans in order to save mankind. It's a $100 million epic and will be converted to 3D in post-production for release by Relativity this year, after being shot on soundstages in Montreal last year. The screenplay was written by Charley Parlapanides & Vlas Parlapanides. Also starring: Freida Pinto, Stephen Dorff as Stavros, John Hurt as Old Zeus and Corey Sevier as Apollo. "The Gods are like superheroes," Tarsem has teased before. Relativity is bringing Immortals to theaters everywhere in 3D starting November 11th this fall. Thoughts?

Although I think Frieda's work is so so, she's getting a lot of work. Flava of the month. That being said I will see this..no doubt.

Cavill's speech is hilarious. Dear God, he really is going to kill the Superman franchise.

I don't really understand how one can deal in such hyperbolics. That, and how one can make such a judgement call based on a trailer.

Looks like GOD OF WAR the movie! Cavill = Kratos 😉

Me too Beevis, does look pretty good, the costumes would be quite camp if it wasn't so well graded. Tarsem makes good stuff.

yea - i hate to use comparisons to other movies -but this has a real "300" flavor to it.....except even MORE badass; if that's possible. i can't wait to see it - and ,more than likely, buy the blu version when it hits the street.............no.....i correct myself - i just watched the trailer again - i KNOW i'll buy the blu version as soon as it comes out.

Three different titles immediately jumped out at me upon watching this trailer: Watchmen, God of War, and 300. It looks like, and this is just my opinion, some sort of mashup between the three of them in story, film style, and imagery, while it still maintains its own individuality as a film. I think it will be pretty interesting.

this looks....cool, but it also looks like over-stylized garbage. Come on. Let's be honest. I'll still see half of it....because my eyes will be rolling the whole time.

was lucky enough to watch an early viewing of this over a month or so ago,Rourke fucking rocks as the king and the visuals(most were undone or still under-going post -production) were pretty bad ass

Better trailer than the first two. Visual effects look amazing! I am a huge fan of Tarsem's THE CELL. I hope this will be at least interesting on the visual level. The BRAVEHEART battle rally speech (repeated again and again in countless medieval/ancient war movies like TROY, ALEXANDER, KING ARTHUR, 300, GLADIATOR) has grown tired and really unnecessary. If they gonna use it at least re-invent or put some tongue-in-cheek humor in it.

Take a gander at the latest trailer for Tarsem Singh’s “Immortals”, starring the new Superman Henry Cavill. The whole thing looks like it’s going to be a pretty inspired visual treat, but story-wise, meh, it doesn’t exactly convince you that there’s inherent greatness here.

Played out theme, untalented director. 'Tarsem' (what a wank) has yet to direct a decent film. Yes, his unsubtle art direction may be somewhat above average, but forget about dialog or characters. He should stick to video clips and ads, or silent movies.

If you actually saw Tarsem's "The Fall" and you call him untalented, I feel sorry for you.

if the theme is "played out" AND you hate the director - why would you even watch the trailer??

I get a boner of anticipation of this movie! Realy Tarsem is a visionary guy!

This movie has more merits than 300. 300 is just a copy/paste from the comic.

Theseus IS SO HOT!!!

OK so Theseus was from House of flying dagger(from previous trailer) and the Gods were from Jet Li's The One. NICE!! Don't get me wrong I love his work in the Cell but this one is too rip off for me.

The theme is supposed to be more complex than what it's being given credit for. I believe there is a journey testing faith as well as the idea that good deeds are what earn you immortality, not Gods or things - beautiful message embedded in a violent movie. Looking forward to a good story and awesome visual effects!

Movies set in the old Greek and Roman days are my favorite and I can see this is going to be good too.
