Clash Trailer

She'll have to fight! Time for a little martial arts action to start your weekend. Thanks to a post via our friends at GeekTyrant, we came across a trailer for a Vietnamese martial arts flick called Clash that seemed pretty awesome. The film stars Johnny Tri Nguyen and Ngô Thanh Vân, the key part of that being the girl, who kicks as much ass as the guys. "She's forced to recover a stolen hard drive with codes to Vietnam's first satellite in order to save her. The only way to accomplish the top-secret task is to enlist the expertise of several other specialists, including Quan, a mysterious man with whom she becomes romantically involved."

Watch the first official trailer for Le Thanh Son's Clash via YouTube:

Get ready for an action extravaganza like no other in the suspenseful, heart-pounding Clash. Stars Johnny Tri Nguyen & Ngô Thanh Vân are a powerful duo as mercenaries with the same goal but different motives.

Clash, or originally Bay Rong, is directed by first-time filmmaker Lê Thanh Sơn, from a screenplay written by Vietnamese actor Johnny Tri Nguyen. This opened in Vietnam way back in 2009 and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival back in 2010, so its been a long time coming. Indomina Releasing is distributing Clash in the US, but it looks like they're only releasing it straight-to-DVD on August 9th. Visit the official website.
