Previously we've highlighted a surprising guest on the continuing online talks show series Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis when Sean Penn sat in the hot seat. The results were pretty hilarious, but how does our host fare when sitting across from the equally funny and comedically intimidating Will Ferrell? Well, since The Hangover Part II and Everything Must Go are both in theaters now, each has something to promote, so what better time for some conveniently timed hilarity as these two sit down for a charming chat. Just from Ferrell's wardrobe, you can see we're off to a good start already. See it below!

Of course, promoting either film obviously doesn't work like it does on "Late Night with David Letterman" or "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" since the clip on display for Ferrell's movie obviously isn't even from Everything Must Go, but that doesn't mean it's not a great clip anyway. You'd think things would've gotten real awkward when a little girl walks in and calls Galifianakis fat, but it's when the guest and host start eating fruit out of each other's mouths when things get really intense. Anyway, Between Two Ferns always delivers the laughs every time, and I can't wait to see who else shows up down the road. Pretty funny, eh?

Slow awkward tension buildup for explosive comedic release. That's pretty much the MO of both of these guys in a nutshell. Never fails.

Honestly, my favorite part was Jon Hamm randomly coming in to find his keys. I love that guy so much.

Or I have different standards on my comedy. He wasn't funny in The Office. Wasn't funny in Land of the Lost. And was only mildly funny in his previous sports movies. Some comedians just get washed up.

washed up? first of all, he did'nt write his script on the office or determine what his character was going to be like, and he was actuall really funny in the last episode when the net fell on him? Secondly: THE OTHER GUYS was recent and that was fuckin HILARIOUS. Thirdly: Don't knock Will Ferrell BITCH!! 😛

This is the worst episode yet. I found mostly all of them funny but this was lame and rehashed, sounds like the Hangover 2, lol. All you idiots, if you haven't seen the rest of the episodes, then reserve your comments, because this falls short. Carell's is hilarious.

That one with Natalie Portman was over the top hilarious. It was so uncomfortable to watch, and I almost believed she was uncomfortable and pissed to be there. "Did you also shave your V for Vagina?" XD
