X-Men: First Class

It is definitely the summer of superheroes, that's for sure. To introduce us to three young, new mutants from Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class that we haven't seen on the big screen yet, MTV has released a series of three 60-second character spots, which you can watch below. There's one for Banshee, played by Caleb Landry Jones, Havok, played by Lucas Till, and Beast, played by Nicholas Hoult (who we did see in X3 played by Kelsey Grammer). The latest official X-Men trailer was debuted last week and left most people very excited for this, so let's continue building buzz, as these all look great. Check out all three of the spots.

Watch the first X-Men: First Class character spot for Banshee, played by Caleb Landry Jones:

Watch the second X-Men: First Class character spot for Havok, played by Lucas Till:

Watch the third X-Men: First Class character spot for Beast, played by Nicholas Hoult:

Before Charles Xavier (McAvoy) and Erik Lensherr (Fassbender) took the names Professor X & Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for their first time, even working together as friends.

X-Men: First Class is directed by British director Matthew Vaughn, of Layer Cake, Stardust and Kick-Ass. Bryan Singer, director of X-Men 1 and 2, is producing and wrote the story. The screenplay was written by quite a few writers, including Josh Schwartz ("Gossip Girl" & "Chuck"), Jamie Moss (Street Kings), Ashley Miller ("Fringe", Thor), Zack Stentz, and finally Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass). Marv Films & 20th Century Fox will be bringing X-Men: First Class to theaters everywhere starting June 3rd this summer. Excited yet?

This doesn't look like it's set in the 60's at all.

I actually prefer these tv spots over the theatrical trailers. Character moments like these are what make me interested in First Class.

Brilliant! Just brilliant! Im willing to forgive the fact that Banshee isn't Scottish, or that Havoc is older than cyclops, IF the story and characters are served right. Somehow, I have a bit more faith after seeing these trailers. Just Beast! ha!

I always thought Havoc was older than Scott in the comics. But, then again in Wolverine, Scott was in high school when he was captured, was that in the 60s or 70s?

Finally, I assured to look forward to XMen after the Brett Ratner mess. These videos are much much better than the so-ordinary Trailers that came out so far.

It seems like Marvel is finding that is making more money with movies than comics, which is a good thing.

After this movie.. They should release the movie name x-men reborn . Where the old x-men (storm , wolverine , Jean grey , cylops and others ) came back to life by a new mutant ... And the x- men came back to life and another saga. Begins ... I wish this could be the next movie after first class ....... Do u guys agree? Because the old mutants were awesome and some of them still did not used thier full powers
