Zack Snyder's 'Sucker Punch' Gets a Final Badass Music Video/Trailer

Kick ass! One of the few movies I still can't wait to see this spring is Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch, which we've been anxiously waiting to see since visiting the set last year. Although we've seen multiple trailers, TV spots and countless posters for this female-led fantasy-action-extravaganza, Warner Bros has debuted one more official trailer via Yahoo. This one is actually much more like a music video or sizzle reel, basically a bunch of footage cut to music. It isn't anything we haven't seen before in the other trailers, but it is a kick ass reminder that this movie is coming up in a few weeks. I'll be there opening night! What about you guys?
Watch the third official trailer for Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch from WB:
You can also watch this last Sucker Punch trailer in High Definition on Yahoo
Sucker Punch is Zack Snyder's first movie not based on previous material, but an original idea that he came up with and turned into a screenplay with co-writer Steve Shibuya. Set in the 1950's, Sucker Punch follows Baby Doll (Emily Browning) who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man. Warner Brothers is bringing Sucker Punch to theaters starting on March 25th this year. Thoughts?

This is going to be a visual smorgasbord, and if the story is half as good as the sweet candy my brain will be partaking of, well that will make for one amazing flick.

@Andrew- You are correct. My bet is on an unintelligible mish mosh of ripped off imagery, tied together by far too muchpaper thindialoguefor anyone to really get any satisfaction out of it.

Boring, can I get some dialogue to really gauge what this might be about. Also too much slomo

I am sure it is not a coincidence that there was not one piece of dialogue in the trailer. All of the dialogue that we have seen up to this point has been terrible. Synder is the second coming of George Lucas- great eye candy, horrible acting and directing. It is very sad that WB gave him the keys to drive the Superman franchise into the ditch.

Have faith in Superman. After all the script was written by David Goyer and Jonathon Nolan, and the film is being produced by Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas. I am sure that this film will great ! !

Nolan publicly washed his hands from Superman months ago. He is giving 100% attention to his Batman 3 .... as he should be. When it comes to Superman, you either have faith in Snyder or you don't. Do you? I don't. I'm worried.

It is the director that has the greatest effect on the style and performance of the actors. After seeing Watchmen, it is obvious that Synder has no idea how to get a solid performance from his actors. That movie had so much potential, but the awful acting just sucked the life out of the movie. For me it ruined it, and at the end I didn't care who lived or died. He is going to do the same thing with Superman. If he doesn't and he actually pulls it off, I will be very surprised.

WTF? bad acting in watchmen? the only person who I found terrible was Malin Ã…kerman besides her everyone else was great especially Jeffrey Dean Morgan. I think your confusing watchmen with Spiderman 3. Either that or your just a troll.

Still prefer the Lords of Acid music in one of the original teasers. Don't really get the growing hate for this...looks like a lot of silly fun to me.

I actually found this to be a much better trailer than the one that'd been posted earlier. And love the use of the Silversun Pickups song.

Awesome footage, but the music is edited terribly... Hard to believe this is an official trailer.

Snyder is not that bad, people only complain because he uses Slo-mo often, but Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead, and 300 were all good films, 300 ranking in last with a 7 while Watchmen takes a solid epic 9 with DotD in to balance it all with in 8.

He should be doing Xerxes instead of Superman. That is where his talent and style could really shine.

Well the way I see it, is that he wants to give someone else the chance to shine in the directors seat, while he and Miller produce. Supes is a once in a life time opportunity and I'm sure Snyder is bringing his A game for the film.

This makes me a little less worried that Snyder is directing "The Man Of Steel" now. It looks to be a fun ride. Can't wait to see the end product.

If you want dialouge and a great story, watch something else. This flick knows what it is, and doesnt apologize for it. Crazy over the top action and special effects. A flick to enjoy at the theaters. Go watch "The King's Speech" if u want dialouge in a movie. Movies like thats should go straight to DVD IMO. This is the type of movie that SHOULD be in theaters. Can't wait!

watchmen is one of my most beloved graphic novels of all time and if you have the chance to watch the complete edition of the movie with all deleted scenes (plotlines) the black freighter and under the hood spliced in it is one of the most complete graphic novel remakes ever!! hands down aside from the likes of sin city .... if u saw it in theaters and didnt appreciate it try out the full version at least see i with all the deleted scenes and plotline between SS and DR M .... i believe that movie showcases Snyders true talent the music selection alone in the film blew my mind ( i love the fact that directors are being bold enough to make an action/epic/drama without an orchestral score using songs from throughout the decades that people already have an emotional attachment to and pairing it with amazing visual imagery it is site to behold) i think you guys are being too hard on the guy hes capable of amazing things you just have to have an open mind ..... and the opening credits in watchmen (time line showing the alt history paired with "the times they are a changin" by bob dylan) is one of the greatest pieces of cinema in the last 20 years in my opinion ...

Yeah, what this guy said. If all you "every movie must be Citizen Kane" fucktards aren't going, good. I don't need to hear you useless, uneducated, elitist prattle after the movie. I'm just going to get fucked up and try to enjoy myself. I don't want you killjoy cocksuckers around ruining it.

About "Early Screening Reactions" and their implied negativity: I could not find any early screening reviews save a few, and all of them came to different conclusions. I would not describe any of them as "poor" in a very critical sense. One guy said it bored him. Some people just aren't interested in movies like this at all. The other reviews I've read have basically said it was a fun flick that actually had quite a lot going for it in the character department, if not the actual plot. It sounds like a flick i could enjoy, and I don't even tend to like big-budget action-CGI type movies like this. I liked Watchmen well enough. I liked 300. Sure it's flashy and slick looking, but it's not like movies like that HAVE to be bad or anything. It's just that they're usually helmed by people who don't really give a fuck or are working up some studio exec's idea of what an awesome action movie should be. This looks to be Snyder's little "I just got the chance to make whatever the fuck I want, I'm gonna indulge every fantasy idea I've ever had" movie. I'll be there on opening weekend.

I am overall disappointed with the fact that we have another matrix mirror story, I was very exited with the teaser because it looked like the story was going to have a fantasy setting, a cool new world but then it is destroyed when you go back to same lame writing I see a lot, to where Oh! no, is not real, it was in their minds. C'mon just take a chance and write it as what it is, create a whole new world that doesn't have to be explained to the usual cop out that it really isn't real.

Who gives a rip if the story sucks, visually it is frakking beautiful.
