Disney just made a splash with that awesome trailer for Wreck-It Ralph, but now some big news comes in the form of confirmation of the talent behind the camera for the Captain America sequel slated for release on April 4th, 2014. At the end of March, the shortlist included George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau), F. Gary Gray (Law Abiding Citizen) and "Community" duo Anthony and Joseph Russo. Now Heat Vision confirms it will be the latter television duo taking on the sequel for Marvel Studios, though no plot details are currently available for the sequel, other than it will be set after the events of The Avengers.
Right now it seems the Captain America sequel is the only Avengers team member with the most mystery for a sequel following the superhero ensemble. Thor 2 already has a villain cast in the form of Mads Mikkelsen (though we still don't know who the Danish actor will be playing, and we've gotten plenty of tidbits about Iron Man 3 now that the film is shooting in North Carolina. Hell, even The Avengers sequel has some semblance of information on the sequel after that bumper at the end of the credits featuring Thanos. For now all we know is we'll be waiting another couple years for Captain America and Anthony and Joseph Russo have their hands full taking on what looks to be their most high profile project to date. Stay tuned.

Man! the brothers who directed episodes of community? y felt Captain America was the weakest of the avengers and taking two "newcomers" seem a like a risk to me

I say give them a chance they might impress us with something brilliant and hilarious. They could be the next Nolan brothers for the marvel world. P.S. the helmet still looks awkward, lol. Captain America looks great without the helmet in my personal opinion but it seriously needs redesigning.

Not necessarily, but you pretty much ruined it for people who are not familiar with the mythos.
