Apparently MGM Also Looking to Russell Crowe to Play 'RoboCop'?

It's been a busy week for Russell Crowe. Yesterday alone the actor was said to be part of the saving grace that would allow Akiva Goldsman to direct his gestating adaptation of Winter's Tale, and then later in the evening it was said Darren Aronofsky was looking to Crowe to take the titular role in the Biblical epic Noah. Now it sounds like Crowe is simultaneously up for another big role as a Twitter update from Variety report Jeff Sneider revealed that the actor is also potentially being lined up for RoboCop, the remake from director José Padilha of Elite Squad: The Enemy Within. I'm not sure what role sounds better for Crowe.
Previously, the director wanted someone like Michael Fassbender to take the role, but Crowe doesn't really seem to be along those lines. He's much beefier, and not nearly as lean as Fassbender. Honestly, out of the trio of films, it seems like Winter's Tale will definitely happen, but since that's only a supporting role, it would likely allow him to take either Noah or RoboCop. Frankly, it would be pretty great to see Crowe kicking as much ass as he did in Gladiator over ten years ago, but he's likely only on a shortlist of talents to get inside the big metal suit. We'll likely hear word on either of these casting scenarios soon so stay tuned.

Leave the role for Fassbender. Crowe is a great actor and everything, but this role isn't right for him.

A lean again Crowe tweeted a short simple "no" yesterday when he was asked if he were doing Robocop. He admitted he was eyeballing Noah. He's had meetings with Akiva Goldsman about Winter's Tale. But even this Crowe can't fly a line between 3 projects at one time, with all 3 films mentioned as beginning lensing in the fall.

In Robocop actor is important but not much important.I think in this flick script and directing much much vital.in first classic movie Peter weller wasn't top actor in his times but Paul verhoven director of that film prove he can take good performance from his actors.I think antagonist in Robocop is more important from first role actor.I want a great great great greatest story not another Robocop 2 and 3! Dark mood and brutality theme in first was was win ticket! Special effect and music must became first class and I wish that film take this rate: r rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
