Aubrey Plaza and Donald Glover in Red Band 'The To-Do List' Trailer

The To-Do List

Actress Aubrey Plaza is already getting a lot of praise this year for some great work in the indie comedy Safety Not Guaranteed (my favorite film from the Sundance Film Festival this year, which will likely make my Top 10 for the end of 2012 as well). Now it looks like she's keeping the laughs coming in a promising new comedy called The To-Do List marking the feature film writing and directorial debut of Maggie Carey. Plaza is joined by comedic talent like Donald Glover, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and even Agent Coulson himself, Clark Gregg. Watch the first hilarious red band trailer!

Here's the first raunchy red band trailer for Maggie Carey's The To-Do List from CBS Films:

The To-Do List follows the story of Brandy Klark (Aubrey Plaza), a Type-A, overachiever who comes up with a "to-do list" featuring all the risqué extra-curricular activities she missed out on in high school and wants to complete before college. Rachel Bilson, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, Scott Porter, Connie Britton, Clark Gregg, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Donald Glover, Johnny Simmons, Sarah Steele and Alia Shawkat all co-star in the film marking the feature writing and directorial debut of Maggie Carey ("Funny or Die Presents"). CBS Films is sending the film to theaters on Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2013. Funny?

That trailer did absolutely nothing for me. But I love pretty much every person involved with this so i'm in.

Donald Glover from Community! I'll support this....probably by watching on Netflix, but I'll support it. But that trailer needs to be re-edited and remove all the commentary with Aubrey Plaza talking to the camera. That commentary totally kills any and all enthusiasm one might get for this movie.

Agreed. Was she even trying to sell the movie? Or is she utterly dumbfounded as to why she's hosting a trailer for a movie 6 months out... that will be forgotten about in a month.

Glover and Plaza were also in Mystery Team together. It was written by Derrick Comedy. Glover and his comedy troupe.

Looks like a chance for a few cheap laughs. I could use a few cheap laughs. Couldn't you?
