Skyfall IMAX

Briefly: Bond in IMAX! We already know that James Bond's Skyfall, directed by Sam Mendes starring Daniel Craig as 007, is getting an IMAX release (they teased it with a trailer barely anyone saw). However, news has arrived via twitter that Skyfall will be released one day early, on November 8th, in IMAX only. This isn't a major change, because the UK and most of Europe will already get to see the movie weeks before us, as it opens on October 26th over there. But for the rest of us, if you're excited to see this in IMAX, you'll have the opportunity to do so starting Thursday, November 8th (and presumably midnight on Wednesday). Besides Craig, Skyfall stars Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe & Ben Whishaw.

If you're interested, two new international TV spots for Skyfall also recently debuted (via The Film Stage).

Skyfall is being directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition, Jarhead, Revolutionary Road, Away We Go), from a script by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. Skyfall will once again star Daniel Craig as James Bond 007, along with Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench as M, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace with Ben Whishaw. You can also follow the official twitter @007 for updates as well, they've been tweeting photos and more. Columbia Pictures, Eon Productions and MGM have Skyfall set to hit US theaters on November 9th this fall. We'll continue to keep you updated on all things Bond. Check out my on set experience in Istanbul. Almost time!
