Check Out a Cool Featurette on the Alien Invaders from 'Battleship'
With summer just around the corner, studios are whipping out all the big guns on the marketing machine to get audiences into theaters for some solid box office numbers, and one of the films that seems to have an uphill battle in doing that is Battleship. With no ties to the board game on which it is based and an audience fairly incredulously taken aback with this adaptation, director Peter Berg and Universal Pictures could be looking at a sunk battleship this summer. But there's still hope, and maybe this cool featurette on the alien invaders from the film will turn some heads. It's a pretty cool design, but I'm not sold yet. Watch!
Here's the featurette on the aliens of Peter Berg's Battleship courtesy of IGN:
A fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an advanced armada of unknown origins in order to defeat them.
Battleship is directed by American filmmaker Peter Berg, of Very Bad Things, The Rundown, Friday Night Lights (the movie), The Kingdom and Hancock previously. The screenplay was co-written by brothers Erich Hoeber & Jon Hoeber, of Whiteout, RED and Man on a Ledge. Universal produced this with a budget of over $200 million. Battleship is currently set to sail on May 18th this summer. Visit their official website.
being honest.. this actually looks pretty damn cool.

Maybe...but I would still prefer if P.Berg went through with the Dune remake...just to see how they would have handled the visuals with a big budget and modern special effects...the screenplay is another matter...

Once they changed their approach then the movie started looking more appealing. The first initial trailer was a little wrong but they quickly made some adjustments to make the movie look cooler. http://blog.moviepass.com/

Looks like Hasbro justed wanted to cash in this summer to sell more toys by making it look like Michael Bay's Transformer films. Pass.

Man, is it me or is Rihanna really fucking annoying to listen to? The dumb bitch can't sing, so they put her in movies?

I love how they say that ILM doesn't say no to any ideas. Explains a lot about the Star Wars prequel trilogy!

I already watched it. A fun movie with an awesome feeling afterward. I guess I could say it's a great popcorn film. No need to think much and enjoy the battle in HD. Surprisingly, I didn't expect it to be a funny one, but nevertheless, it is. Had a good laugh for the jokes.
