We're big fans of the work of Olly Moss. From his beautiful trio of posters for the original Star Wars trilogy to a stunning piece of work for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and a great set for the Rolling Roadshow in 2010. Now the poster artist is back with a new piece of work for Mondo in the form of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, just in time for the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey which gets midnight shows starting late tomorrow night. It's a gorgeous poster that features the Eye of Sauron, the fellowship of the One Ring, Gollum and one of the shards of Narsil. It's a must-have for any true Ringer.
Here's Olly Moss' new poster for Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy via SlashFilm:
Olly Moss's Lord of the Rings is a 15" x 36" screen print. The regular green edition with a print run of 580 will run you $50 while the variant orange edition has a print run of 285 and costs a little more at $90. As always the two posters will go on sale Thursday, December 13 at a random time at @MondoNews. So stay tuned to their Twitter feed and see if you can get your hands on one of these gorgeous prints. Good stuff?
