The Hunger Games - Cinna

Smile Away! Something fun for all the Hungers Games fans out there. Some "viral" marketing has popped up (via ComingSoon) in the form of ads from the Capitol for The Hunger Games movie, featuring three characters. Each one is basically an ad for a colorful product in the Capitol. There's one for Cinna, played by Lenny Kravitz, Katniss' stylist; one for Seneca Crane, played by Wes Bently, the Head Gamemaker; and one for interviewer Caesar Flickerman, played by Stanley Tucci, who looks like he's been distorted so much just to hide it's even him. These are kind of fun and flashy, more from the universe of Hunger Games.

These all look odd, so I'm not sure I prefer any, but I'm glad they're getting into it. Gives us more, Lionsgate!

Jennifer Lawrence stars as Katniss, a 16-year-old living in the post-apocalyptic country of Panem. Every year, one boy and one girl are chosen from each of Panem's 12 districts to fight each other to their death. Josh Hutcherson plays Peeta, the boy chosen from District 12 for the Hunger Games with Katniss.

The Hunger Games is both written and directed by Oscar nominated filmmaker Gary Ross, director of Seabiscuit and Pleasantville previously, but also writer of Big, Mr. Baseball, Dave, Lassie, Pleasantville and Seabiscuit. It's adapted from Suzanne Collins' popular series of novels, first published in 2008. Lionsgate is bringing Hunger Games to theaters everywhere March 23rd, 2012. May the odds be ever in your favor.

I think Stanley Tucci's is supposed to be distorted like that...the character in the books had been looking the same way since he began interviewing at the Hunger Games, which was decades before, so I'd guess they're going for someone who's had too much work done to look normal anymore.
