"Walk faster Tommy! Get to that light!" Ready to be creeped out? Cinedigm/Flatiron Films has debuted the first creepy teaser trailer for Ciaran Foy's Citadel, an Irish horror thriller about some group of "hooded" twisted feral children who torment a man and his young child. The film stars Aneurin Barnard (Ironclad, Hunky Dory, Guinea Pigs), along with Scotland's James Cosmo (Braveheart, Troy, Chronicles of Narnia) and Wunmi Mosuka. The synopsis may or may not clear things up: An agoraphobic father teams up with a renegade priest to save his daughter from the clutches of a gang of twisted feral children. Take a look!
Watch the first teaser trailer for Ciaran Foy's horror Citadel, first debuted via ShockTillYouDrop:
The dilapidated suburbia of Edenstown casts a shadow over Tommy Cowley's life. Trapped there by his agoraphobia since his wife was fatally attacked by twisted feral children, he now finds himself terrorized by the same mysterious hooded gang, who seem intent on taking his baby daughter. Torn between the help of an understanding nurse and a vigilante priest, he discovers that to be free of his fears, he must finally face the demons of his past and enter the one place that he fears the most… the abandoned tower block known as the Citadel. Written & directed by Irish filmmaker Ciaran Foy, making his feature debut after a number of shorts. Citadel premiered at SXSW this year, and will be released limited October 19th this fall.

the last second of the trailer always ruins it for me.

In that case close your eyes and put your hands over your ears during that last second of the previews: Voila! Movie not ruined; problem solved, .

If this were a big time Hollywood film, I'd say that end definitely ruined it for me too, but seeing as this is primarily an indie film, I'm sure that little clip will be irrelevant.

Got a sorto Jacob's Laddery kind of vibe a bit there, looks good. Looks more like a mental health issue that the kid has rather than some demons.
