Darling Companion

Losing a pet can be like losing an important member of your family, and that's exactly why Diane Keaton is so distraught in the first trailer for Darling Companion, a new film from Lawrence Kasdan, the writer of films like The Empire Strikes Back and Raiders of the Lost Ark. However, this film looks more along the lines of his work in The Big Chill as Kevin Kline comes along for the story about a family who loses their loyal canine companion that came into their lives after finding him abandoned and freezing in the snow on the side of the freeway. It looks kind of sappy, but just might be worth a look. Watch below!

Here's the first trailer for Lawrence Kasdan's Darling Companion from Yahoo! Movies:

Lawrence Kasdan (The Big Chill, French Kiss) wrote and directed this Darling Companion following a couple that hits the rocks after their family dog goes missing. An ensemble cast that includes Diane Keaton, Kevin Kline, Richard Jenkins, Mark Duplass, Dianne Wiest and more come together to search for the dog in a journey that will affect each and every one of them. The film is slated to hit theaters on April 20, 2012.
