Dwayne Johnson Lands Sci-Fi Action Adventure 'Lore' at Warner Bros
The man saw plenty of action in Fast Five with another sequel in the Fast and Furious franchise on the way, and he's seen plenty of adventure with Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, and another sequel on the way in that franchise as well. Now Dwayne Johnson is looking into a different kind of action adventure for his next film Lore, an adaptation of T.P. Louise's graphic novel that has been picked up by Warner Bros. that's being described as "Men in Black with mythological creatures." Considering I've always thought that Johnson would be a good fit in the Men in Black franchise, this sounds sort of perfect to me. More below!
The graphic novel is described here: "In times past, the world was full of mythical creatures - creatures long since banished and held at bay by the secret society of Shepherds. But when the generational line of Shepherds is broken, a reluctant hero finds her life threatened from every quarter. And the creatures are coming back!" Likely Johnson's character turns into some sort of protector of the female hero mentioned in the brief synopsis. What has me most interested in the film, which THR says will be adapted by Cory Goodman (Priest) and Jeremy Lott, is the art in the book from Ashley Wood, and I wonder how that will translate to the big screen. No director is attached yet, and Warner Bros. just beat out Paramount and Sony for the rights to the graphic novel, so stay tuned.
So Popbot, Zombies vs Robots and Lore too? That's good going for Ashley Wood, I love his work, have a couple of his prints sitting right in front of me now.Automatic Kafka is great too, but I think he kindo got screwed by DC on that one so it won't ever get made into a film.He changed up the field of comics with his work, but it made a lot of whinging fangirls get upset because his stuff didn't look exactly like everything else. The man is a machine, I'd actually probably prefer to see an animation of his work, I think it could translate better that way. Lore is a good story, I love the scale of the monsters in it too.

Rock is my favorite actor, he act very good, I love his acting and persona in "Faster" but my word is he must take serious role further. He play in family movies and I like those films but he time arrive that he must shine in more serious roles like Denzel Washington in American gangster or man on fire
