Right now Ed Helms has some time away from "The Office" as the NBC series is on hiatus, and the actor will fill that time with a couple film roles. Deadline has word that Helms has landed a supportingĀ role in They Came Together, the romantic comedy parody from David Wain which has Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler starring. Helms will play Poehler's love interest, who also happens to be her accountant. The You've Got Mail inspired parody will have Poehler playing a small business owner crushed by an even larger concern. In addition, apparently The Dictator star Jason Mantzoukas has also landed an unknown role.
But that's not the only fun Helms will be having this summer. Apparently Helms has also booked a small role in We're the Millers, a comedy about a veteran pot dealer who creates a fake family as part of his plan to move a huge shipment of weed into the U.S. from Mexico. Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston and Nick Offerman. Dodgeball director Rawson Thurber is at the helm of the comedy and Helms will play Sudeikis' character's boss who may be hiding something nefarious and shady, whatever that means. Sounds like a good couple of projects for Helms, and they're sure to be better than The Hangover Part II.
