Jurassic Park 3D

"What do they got in there - King Kong? Can anyone say gimmick? This is one of those classic movies that, while it does feature plenty of shots that would look great in 3D, doesn't really need a 3D re-release. But of course I could say the same about Titanic. Universal has debuted the first full trailer for Jurassic Park 3D, their updated 3D re-release of the dinosaur adventure classic, arriving in theaters next April. I was hoping we'd see Spielberg talking about the 3D conversion or a look at the behind-the-scenes process, but nope, nothing. It only has footage from the film (which is one of my all-time favorites) and that's it. Enjoy!

Watch the trailer for Universal's 3D re-release of Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park originally via Yahoo:

On a remote island, a wealthy entrepreneur secretly creates a theme park featuring living dinosaurs drawn from prehistoric DNA. Before opening the exotic attraction to the public, he invites a top paleontologist, a paleobotanist, a mathematician/theorist, and his two eager grandchildren to experience the park — and help calm anxious investors. Jurassic Park was directed by Steven Spielberg and released on June 11th, 1993. Based on Michael Crichton's novel, adapted by Crichton himself and screenwriter David Koepp. Universal is re-releasing Jurassic Park in 3D in theaters starting on April 5th, 2013 next year. Sold. I'll be keen as to see this again on the big screen, and being 3D will definitely work for this classic.

Yeah, we're not on the same page here. Very excited to see this in 3D, and who cares if there's behind the scenes footage or not? Didn't do that for Titanic or any of the other 3D re-releases. That's usually something you'd see if it was coming to Blu-ray.

Still looks good, even almost 20 years later.

Next 3D Thing : Little Miss Sunshine God Bless You , Whole World and US itself involve Sovereign Defaults but they still insist on 3D nonsense things. JP was awesome but 2D or 3D doesn't make any difference unless for some kids. Spent the money on the better ways. Nolan didn't make Batman 3D, You think he didn't knew ticket in 3D cinemas is more expensive than 2D's. I think some old animations deserve 3D but this kinda movies....nop For me this is some sick joke that Cameron 6 month work on Titanic 3D instead of Avatar sequels or Battle Angel

Couldn't care less about the 3D conversion, but damn this makes me want to watch it again.

There are some movies out there, that even if I've seen them hundreds of times or own them...if they get featured again in theaters, I'll still go see them! Lookin forward to the 3D conversion, as Jurassic Park is my favorite movie of all time!

Does anyone know if they're redoing the CG? I watched it a few months ago and DAMN it hasn't aged gracefully. IMAX 3D would really bring out all of the low resness
