The Devil's Carnival Teaser Trailer

"Come one, come two, come all!" If you're not a fan of Repo! The Genetic Opera, the Bousman-directed dark musical, I suggest staying away from this, it's more of the same - but at a carnival. THR (via SlashFilm) has the first official teaser trailer for a new 55-minute film from Darren Bousman and Terrance Zdunich, creators of Repo!, called The Devil's Carnival. This follow-up is "more accessible than Repo but also a lot darker than Repo" and includes a lot of the same cast: Paul Sorvino, Alexa Vega, Bill Moseley, Skinny Puppy's Ogre, plus newcomers Jessica Lowndes, Sean Patrick Flannery and Briana Evigan. Enjoy!

Watch the first teaser trailer for Darren Bousman & Terrence Zdunich's The Devil's Carnival, via THR:

The Devil's Carnival is a 55-minute musical set in Hell directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III, IV, Mother's Day, 11-11-11), written by Terrence Zdunich, co-creators of Repo! The Genetic Opera from 2008. Terrence Zdunich also wrote the music for this with Saar Hendelman, which will be released in a 13-song album with the film. For those interested, The Devil's Carnival is getting a 30-city "rock tour" starting up in April, where Bousman will turn "venues into environments that tie to the movie and that will encourage audience participation." If you're into this kind of thing, or loved Repo! The Genetic Opera, then you can find out more info on the official website: TheDevilsCarnival.com. Looks quite crazy. A new Rocky Horror?

Could be great. But Mr. Bousman has yet to "wow" me. I did like SAW II though, for what its worth.

I loved Repo, so this should be good even though the teaser doesn't help you in thinking so..

I also loved Repo, and this looks like it could definitely be twisted. I'm a huge fan of Bill Moseley and am looking forward to see what he brings. The addition of Shawn Crahan is interesting. I'm excited for this!

That teaser would've been so much better if they left out the last of it.

I already would love the song that started playing before the clown like music at the end. Hopefully that is actually one of their songs and not just one thrown onto the trailer alone.
