First Trailer for the Sundance Selected 'Celeste and Jesse Forever'
It's hard to believe that six months ago saw the premiere of Celeste and Jesse Forever at the Sundance Film Festival, and now the first trailer for the romantic comedy starring Andy Samberg and Rashida Jones has arrived, and it has all the hilarity and heartbreak that you may or may not be expecting. This isn't your average romantic comedy, and I actually fell in love with this one at Sundance in January. Elijah Wood and Ari Graynor have great supporting roles in this flick, and it's just one of those films for anyone who's ever loved and lost. Plus it uses the track Drifting In And Out by Porcelain Raft, so that's cool. Watch!
Here's the first trailer for Lee Toland Krieger's Celeste and Jesse Forever originally from Apple:
Celeste and Jesse Forever follows the title couple Celeste (Rashida Jones) and Jesse (Andy Samberg) who met in high school, married young, and at 30-years old, decide to get divorced but attempt to remain best friends while pursuing other romantic relationships. But obviously, that's a little complicated The cast also includes great talents like Ari Graynor, Chris Messina, Elijah Wood, Emma Roberts, Eric Christian Olsen & Zoë Hall with director Lee Toland Krieger (of The Vicious Kind and December Ends previosuly) at the helm. Sony Pictures Classics is bringing the film to theaters later this summer on August 3rd. Looking good?

Oh God. Did someone follow me around with a camcorder and film part of my life? Wow. If I watch this I'll cry through the whole thing, which is ugly because I can bawl like a child.

Wow, I love seeing Andy Samberg expand his repertoire a bit and not just be goofing off all the time. This looks fantastic

I see a lot of Woody Allen influence in there, I hope this holds up. Could be a break out role for both if it works. Love the supporting cast, very impressed with that!
