If he's coming for you… you deserve it. Damn! What a thing to say in a TV spot. Paramount has unveiled the first two 30-second TV spots for Jack Reacher, the upcoming action movie starring Tom Cruise adapted from Lee Child's novels. We've seen at least two full trailers so far, and while I can't honestly say I'm that interested in this, these two spots are actually making me pay attention for once. The first one features more of filmmaker Werner Herzog as the villain exclaiming "beg for you life" in only the way Herzog can. The second one makes Cruise's Reacher out to be Bryan Mills from Taken, but both look damn good. Check ’em!

Six shots. Five dead. One heartland city thrown into a state of terror. But within hours the cops have it solved: a slam-dunk case. Except for one thing. The accused man says: You got the wrong guy. Then he says: Get Reacher for me. And sure enough, ex-military investigator Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise) knows the killer is a trained military sniper who never should have missed a shot. Reacher is certain something is not right–and soon the slam-dunk case explodes. Christopher McQuarrie (director The Way of the Gun and writer of The Usual Suspects) writers and directs this film which also stars Werner Herzog, Rosamund Pike and Richard Jenkins. Paramount Pictures is sending Jack Reacher to theaters on December 21st this year.
I love that scene in the gun shop where the two gay guys are flirting with each other, and the one gay guy asks the other gay guy to show him something. That's awesome.

Alright, let's assume Tom Cruise is gay. Move on. Jeez!

so, bobo likes the gay guys.......not that there's anything wrong with that.......

Beevis is the resident closeted gay moron of the firstshowing talkbacks....named after a prominent American idiot, and making lame comments under every article. Keep reaching for that rainbow, moron.

I liked the scene where he wanted to wrestle the other guy so they both put down their guns and have a wrestle, just like in real life. Scenes like that surely should have stopped with Steven Seagull films.

This looks ludicrous. Cruise as a tough guy? It'll bomb.

I dont know. I usually really enjoy this work. I dont care nor judge people what they do in their personal life. That maybe being in an occult or jumping on couches. I dont care. I thought the last MI4 movie was fun. He always gives it his all or so it seems and he surely can act. I think tho, this looks a bit generic for him. Not sure why he choose to make this movie after having already established that hes a bad ass in the MI series. The movie seems unnecessary. Not sure if thats a good sign. Still, action looks solid so could be fun. PLus after all the hyped, overrated shit out there (im looking at you, Bond, this movie might be decent). #justsayin
