Florence + the Machine Delivers 'Snow White & the Huntsman' Song
Sometimes, I'm somewhat annoyed with the artists chosen to contribute songs to film soundtracks. For example, if you haven't already heard, Will Smith will not be doing the traditional theme song for Men in Black III and the responsibilities have instead been handed over to Pitbull, who made a dreadful song called Back in Time (I dare you to listen to the whole thing here). But Taylor Swift crafted an awesome song for The Hunger Games (which has one hell of a soundtrack including Once musician Glen Hansard) and now Florence + the Machine have a song for the Snow White and the Huntsman soundtrack. Listen!
Here's Florence + the Machine's Breath of Life from Snow White and the Huntsman (via The Playlist):
In this new epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart plays the only person in the land fairer than the Evil Queen Ravenna (Theron) out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Hemsworth) who was dispatched to kill her. Actors Eddie Izzard, Ray Winstone, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Stephen Graham, Eddie Marsan and Ian McShane play dwarfs. This is being directed by Rupert Sanders, an acclaimed commercials director making his feature debut. Arrives in theaters on June 1st this summer.
Love me some Florence. Amazing!

They deliver us another lord of rings or another golden terrible compass? Deliver us Disneys magical world or another forgettable wooden picture? Deliver us good and evil with flesh and bones or another perfunctory CGI? Pics promise us hardworking cast & crew

Blocked. Remember when MTV wouldn't let Herbie Hancock be in the Rock It video because he was black? So they used robots instead, just in case people got offended by seeing a person of colour on their shitty rock station?Yeah, well I do. MTV is balls.

Just realised this isn't actually hosted by MTV, but they still suck balls anyway. I don't get this holding back music or film based on region.

I've got a feeling that the song in that video above, will be one of the songs playing during the credits after the movie. It doesn't sound like a song that would belong in the movie itself.

I loved the song! The movie was good, although i felt the ending was lacking a little....
