Hailee Steinfeld Joins Luc Besson's Action Thriller with Kevin Costner

Back in August we heard about Kevin Costner taking on two action thriller roles. One was for the Tom Clancy franchise reboot Jack Ryan with Chris Pine (we've since heard that Costner will also star in the adaptation of Without Remorse as well), and the other was for a thriller called Three Days to Kill from producer Luc Besson and director McG. Now the film is apparently untitled but, Deadline reports a young co-star has joined by way of Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit). In the film, Costner plays a dying assassin who, while taking on one last mission, hopes to reunite with his estranged daughter before it's too late. Read on!
The project from writer Adi Hasak (From Paris with Love) could reinvigorate Kevin Costner's career in the same way that Taken turned Liam Neeson into an action star. Costner has gotten a lot more attention since being cast and Man of Steel and baring his western teeth again for "Hatfields & McCoys," and he's showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. As for Steinfeld, we're still waiting to see the follow-up to her Oscar nominated turn in True Grit. She'll be seen in Ender's Game next year and also has a Romeo and Juliet adaptation coming sometime down the road as well. Here's hoping McG doesn't screw this one up.
