Hailee Steinfeld / Why We Broke Up

It still bothers me a little that Hailee Steinfeld was nominated for Best Supporting Actress instead of Best Actress in the 2010 remake of True Grit, because she absolutely owned that movie and deserved much more attention for her performance. Still she's done pretty well for herself, trading in cowboy boots for space boots in the upcoming adaptation of Ender's Game and securing the female title role in Romeo and Juliet. Deadline reports that the 15-year-old actress will star in a new comedy called Why We Broke Up, in which she gives her boyfriend a box of random items from their relationship after she dumps him. Read on!

The film is written by Daniel Handler, who also wrote the novel on which it's based along with the Lemony Snicket books a few years back. Why We Broke Up should be a nice move to create some visibility for Steinfeld with younger viewers who may not have seen the R-rated Coen Brothers western, and it'll be interesting to see her shift from the fast-talking, stubborn Mattie Ross and transition into a whirlwind, ultimately heartbreaking, on-screen romance. Like many others, I've only seen her work in True Grit so far, but at such a young age, she's got some time to prove herself as a great up-and-coming actress. Cool?

It's just you... I love hearing what young actors are doing regardless of the project.  It's fun to watch them grow, and the films they decide to be in will eventually make or break their careers.

Umm are you mentally challenged or just plain lazy and retarded? True grit was rated pg-13 not R, ya damn Neanderthal. Don't you guys who have editors that would catch such a stupid mistake like that? If not I'm looking for work, I could make sure you don't let such a stupid f~*k up happen again
