Halloween

It's Halloween, and that means there's plenty of horror related cinephile goodness coming throughout the month. Kicking off the spooky season is a bit of horror themed hilarity taking aim at the aptly named slasher classic Halloween. Fans will get a chance to see the film in theaters again later this month, but before that, filmmaker Adam Green has answered one of the plaguing questions from the original film. While it doesn't seem like a big deal that the masked killer Michael Myers steals a car and drives to Haddonfield, one of the issues with that plot point is brought up by Dr. Loomis. If Myers has been locked up in the mental institution this whole time, how the hell did he learn how to drive? A "deleted scene" answers our question.

Here's Adam Green's "deleted scene" from Halloween, brought to our attention by Bleeding Cool:

As a bonus for you horror fans, that's Kane Hodder underneath the Michael Myers mask. Hodder played Jason Vorhees in some of the later Friday the 13th sequels. How's that for a horror cross over? Oh, and the driving instructor is Avatar star Joel David Moore. Anyway, this is just an entertaining video making light of a slight plothole in the original film. Of course, something like this isn't meant to be legitimate criticism or dissection of Halloween, and it's all in good fun. Stay tuned for more Halloween goodness this month and make sure you find out which theater is playing the theatrical re-release of Halloween. Funny?

ACTUALLY: halloween six *curse of michael myers* revealed Doctor Wynn to be the one who busted Michael out as well as the one who most likely taught him to drive *Dr.Wynn was also in the first movie when he asked Loomis how he could drive in the first movie and Loomis commented someone must have taught him*

Yes, we mention that remark by Dr. Loomis in the opening paragraph.

Regardless, it's pretty hilarious to imagine him sitting next to a mute psychopath teaching him the basics of driving. Do you think Michael cranked some tunes on his road trip to Cali in H20?

I stole my dads car at 14(no not proud) knowing nothing about cars and had never driving and did better than most adults on the road. drive, park, reverse... a 21 year old in a automatic CMON. DRIVING IS EASY. He would have forgot about gas which is the reason I had to make a horrible phone call and got caught.
