When Wes Anderson is casting for a new film, prepare for an deluge of A-list talent rumored to be attached. Such is the case with The Grand Budapest Hotel, the director's follow-up to Moonrise Kingdom scheduled to start filming in Germany early next year. Former Anderson collaborators like Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, and Owen Wilson have been mentioned as possible cast members but have yet to be confirmed, but now we have confirmation from KPCC (via The Playlist) that another of his cohorts, Jeff Goldblum, has signed on to reunite with Anderson's The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou star.
At this point, we're still not sure who Goldblum will be playing, or what the movie is even about, but we're still glad to see the Jurassic Park star getting work these days, especially if its in one of Anderson's unique universes. We do know that the film is a period piece set in the late 1920s in a Hungarian hotel. Like I said, details are hard to come by right now. Saoirse Ronan just joined the cast last week, and with frequent Anderson collaborator Bill Murray, fresh meatJude Law, and Harry Potter star Ralph Fiennes definitely booked for this project, we'll just have to wait and see what other names Anderson adds to this dream team cast of his before shooting gets underway in 2013.

I love Wes Anderson's work. I can't wait for this. I wish He'd make a Sequel to The life Aquatic. One of my all time favorite movies.
