Latino 'Paranormal Activity 4' Spin-Off Will Be Teased During Credits

In case you didn't know, there's a Latino centric spin-off of Paranormal Activity coming. It's not a sequel or a reboot, but rather a film that somehow ties into the box office smashing found footage franchise, but features a Latino cast and focuses on Catholic-based paranormal mythology. However, in order to maximize the appeal, the film will not be in Spanish. Christopher Landon (Disturbia) will write and direct the film, and now Bloody Disgusting has word that a teaser for the new horror film, arriving sometime in 2013, will be shown after the credits of Paranormal Activity 4 in theaters this month. More below!
Landon also wrote the second and third installments of the Paranormal Activity franchise, so he's very familiar with the style. It's not been confirmed whether or not this spin-off will also be found footage, but as it's being called a "cousin," it wouldn't be surprising. Part of me wonders if there will be something in the fourth film that ties into this new spin-off. Maybe a brief appearance by a supporting character who will lead the Latino spin-off or something. Frankly, I'm skeptical of this fourth installment, as the trailers haven't really been all that thrilling, but I'm hoping for some more good scares.

I don't understand why this "latino" version is being written by a non-latino.
