Sleepless Night Trailer

"Holy s***, that was amazing!" Yea, you've got to see this! Tribeca Film has debuted the official US trailer in high def via Apple for the French action-thriller Sleepless Night, which was one of my favorites from TIFF last year. I hands down loved this film, and three of us recorded a video blog talking ecstatically about it. Now one of my quotes ends up being used in the trailer - awesome! I had such a blast with this, and really can't wait for it to hit theaters, it's another one of those adrenaline-pumping, non-stop, edge-of-your-seat action gems, and I highly suggest seeing it as soon as you can (available on iTunes in April). This kicks ass!

Watch the official US trailer for Frédéric Jardin's Sleepless Night, in high def via Apple:

Sleepless Night, or Nuit Blanche, is written & directed by French filmmaker Frédéric Jardin (The Sister Brothers, Cravate club), co-written by Nicolas Saada, starring Tomer Sisley as a cop who gets mixed up with a drug lord who runs a massive nightclub in Paris. When his son gets taken hostage, he ends up being chased all around the club by Internal Affairs agents, the drug lord and his cronies, and many others. It premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in Midnight Madness last year (my video review here) and is being remade by Warner Bros, but will get a domestic release by Tribeca Film first. Sleepless Night hits limited theaters on May 11th, plus VOD/iTunes starting April 17th, too. For more visit:

Saw it at Fantastic Fest and while I enjoyed it a lot I think it has quite a few problems.

They kept the best quote at the end. Cool to see your own words in a trailer. Film looks intense.

Agree. Maybe the film is good, but the trailer makes it look like a b action flick

The trailer-voice reminds me of the previews that used to be at the start of VHS rental tapes.

More quotes than action. It may be great..but the trailer was not.

A bad music video with a lot of people getting punched?

"A near-perfect realization of action dynamics"...except when it comes to guns. When will directors show proper recoil and two-handed firing? Michael Mann came awful close in Collateral, but still no dice.
